End of Term Social
To highlight the end of an
amazing term, we held our annual end of year social on Tuesday, 10 December. The
evening started with a classic pub quiz hosted by our much loved alumni Jon
Kay, followed by a range of fun group activities with a debate twist, lots of
free drinks and karaoke! It was a great opportunity for all our new and
existing members to get to know each other better and we hope you had an
enjoyable evening. Thanks for joining us!

Hoodies
The LSE Debate hoodies
have now arrived and ready to be picked up! Mails have been sent out to those
who have ordered a hoodie. Please send an email to lsedebate@gmail.com and arrange a time to
pick up your hoodie. Payments an be made by bank transfer or cash. Also our
hoodies were in such high demand and we are considering placing another set of
order. For a preview of the hoodies, take a look at our committee members and
volunteers modelling for the hoodies during the LSE Schools last week! If you
are interested, please send us an email.

London IV
Just to
promote our first upcoming event in the Lent Term!
London IV is LSE's very own pro-am
tournament and has attracted many talented up and coming debaters in the
past. This year, we are hosting it on Saturday, 18 January, in the LSE. We
hope you will mark your calendars and come to help out either as a volunteer or judge! For
more information, see: https://www.facebook.com/events/1451167931777131/
It's been a great term and we
look forward to an even more exciting Lent term. Stay tuned to our Facebook and
Twitter for any updates over the holidays!
Have a great Winter Break and see you 2014!
