Week 4: News Update

Week 4 is already well underway, and the Society has got 3 announcements to make.

First of all a series of congratulations:
--- to the team LSE BH who made it to the finals of the Southern Debating Association Novices Tournament last Sunday. Well done to all other teams for participating and a big thank you to those who came down to judge and support our LSE teams.

 --- to our newly elected first-year and postgrad representatives: Kencho, Alfred, Akbar, and Judith.

Next, information about the LSE Novice Cup. Our internal novice tournament will be happening this Saturday, 3 November. It is a full day event commencing at 8:15am and ending at approximately 7:30pm. Do come and participate... Attractive prizes are up for grabs! To sign up, please press here to register your interest by Thursday noon at the very latest. More details will be sent to interested participants.

Thirdly and finally experienced Training is taking place on Thursday 1 November at 6:30pm in CLM 2.06. Scott will be running a session on debates pertaining to China. This will be followed by a practice debate.
